We get many questions everyday from our customers.  Below you will find a list of those that are asked most often.  If your question isn't answered here please don't hesitate to contact us !

   
  What is the "energy surcharge" and can I avoid it if I pick up myself ?
 

The energy surcharge (which is currently 9.5%) is a charge from our suppliers on the natural gas that is used to manufacture the glass.  This charge has nothing to do with shipping.

   
  What are the maximum and minimum sizes that can be tempered ?
 

The minimum size piece of glass that can be tempered is 7" x 7" or 10" measured diagonally.  The maximum size that can be tempered is 72" x 120".

   
  What are the maximum and minimum bevels that can be cut?
 

The smallest bevel that can be cut is 1/2" wide.  The largest bevel that can be cut is 1.5".  The minimum size piece of glass that can be beveled is 6" x 6" and some textured glass cannot be beveled.

   
  What is the thinnest insulated glass unit ?
  The thinnest unit that can be manufactured is 3/8" OA
   
  Can an order be expedited ?
 

In some instances we can handle a rush order.  In those cases a $35 rush fee applies.

   
  What is the minimum size order ?
 

The minimum size order that we can ship is $100.  There is no minimum for orders that are picked up at our facility.

   
  Can I pay my freight fees at the time of my order ?
  All product is shipped COD for freight and crating fees.
   
  Do you accept credit cards for payment ?
  We accept all major credit cards with the exception of Discover.  A 3.65% fee is applied to your order when a credit card is used for payment.
   
  What information do you need for me to place an order ?
  We need to know the following at the time of order:
    - Overall thickness of the product
    - Type of glass (e.g. clear, Low-E, Tempered, etc)
    - Size (specified as width x height)
    - Where applicable:
      - Size (width) and color of muttin bars
      - Layout of muttin bars
