GENERAL WARRANTY INFORMATION

THE FOLLOWING ARE EXPRESSLY MADE PART OF AND APPLY AS ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ALL OF THE

STATED PYRAN® FIRE-RATED GLASS-CERAMIC PRODUCT WARRANTIES ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THIS DOCUMENT.

SCHOTT’s sole responsibility to purchaser and purchaser’s sole remedy under this warranty is limited to shipment of replacement

Product.

THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE THE SOLE WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, GIVEN BY SCHOTT IN CONNECTION

WITH THE PRODUCT. SCHOTT DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER EXPRESS ORAL OR WRITTEN WARRANTIES AND ALL

WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY LAW WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS

FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS, WHETHER OR NOT SCHOTT IS AWARE

OF THE INTENDED USE OF THE PRODUCT AND WHETHER OR NOT THE PRODUCT IS USED ALONE OR IN COMBINATION

WITH ANY OTHER MATERIAL OR EQUIPMENT. IF SCHOTT CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES, ALL SUCH

WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO

THE SHORTEST DURATION OF ANY EXPRESS WARRANTIES GIVEN OR THE MINIMUM DURATION FOR IMPLIED WARRANTIES

REQUIRED BY LAW, IF THAT IS LESS. IN NO EVENT WILL SCHOTT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR

PUNITIVE DAMAGES UNDER THESE WARRANTIES.

No warranty claim is valid unless ALL of the following conditions, in addition to any other conditions stated elsewhere in the

Product warranty, are met: A) the Product has been installed in accordance with the recommended guidelines provided by

SCHOTT; B) the failure of the Product under this warranty must occur within the applicable Warranty Period; C) proof of the

date of purchase of the Product acceptable to SCHOTT must be provided with the claim; and D) the Product must be available

for inspection at SCHOTT’s request.

All warranties are null and void with respect to any Product that: 1) has been subject to damage in shipment or after shipment;

2) has been subject to misuse, abuse, accident, or misapplication; 3) has been repaired or altered; 4) has not been

properly handled, stored, processed, shipped, installed, and/or maintained in accordance with SCHOTT’s guidelines as set

forth in the Product Information sheet or otherwise; or 5) is not made available to inspection by SCHOTT when the warranty

claim is made.

SCHOTT’s entire liability for any warranty claim shall not exceed the original purchase price paid to SCHOTT for the Product

that gives rise to claim.

By accepting this warranty, purchaser hereby acknowledges and agrees that purchaser alone has determined that the Product

will suitably meet purchaser’s requirements for the Product’s intended use. Purchaser agrees that SCHOTT shall not be liable

for any claim whatsoever with respect to the purchase, sale, delivery, installation or use of the Product and purchaser assumes

all risks and liability for any loss, damage or injury to persons or property arising there from. SCHOTT assumes no liability for

incidental or consequential damages anticipated or lost profits, loss of time, or any other losses incurred by purchaser or any

third party in connection with the purchase, sale, delivery installation or use of the Product.

INDIVIDUAL PRODUCT WARRANTIES

PYRAN® Platinum Limited Warranty

SCHOTT North America, Inc. (“SCHOTT”) warrants that, at the time of purchase from SCHOTT, the PYRAN® Platinum

glass-ceramic (the “Product”) will conform to SCHOTT’s then current Product specifications. This warranty is only made to and

is limited to the original purchaser of the Product from SCHOTT (“Purchaser”).

No warranty claim is valid under this warranty unless the warranty claim is made within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase.

PYRAN® Platinum F Glass-Ceramic Limited 3-Year Warranty

SCHOTT North America, Inc. (“SCHOTT”) warrants that, at the time of purchase from SCHOTT, the PYRAN® Platinum F glassceramic

(the “Product”) will conform to SCHOTT’s then current Product specifications. SCHOTT also warrants that for a period

of three (3) years from the date of original purchase from SCHOTT (the “Warranty Period”), the Product will maintain adhesion

without crazing, delaminating, or peeling. These warranties are only made to and are limited to the original purchaser of the

Product from SCHOTT (“Purchaser”).

No warranty claim is valid under this warranty unless the warranty claim is made within thirty (30) days of either A) the failure

of the Product to maintain adhesion without crazing, delaminating, or peeling or B) the date of purchase, if the claim is that the

Product does not conform to SCHOTT’s specifications.

PYRAN® Platinum L Glass-Ceramic Limited 5-Year Warranty

SCHOTT North America, Inc. (“SCHOTT”) warrants that, at the time of purchase from SCHOTT, the PYRAN® Platinum L

glass-ceramic (the “Product”) will conform to SCHOTT’s current Product specifications applicable to the Product at the time of

purchase. SCHOTT also warrants that, for a period of five (5) years from the date of the original purchase from SCHOTT (the

“Warranty Period”), the Product will be free from manufacturing defects that cause significant visual disruption through the

glass area, delamination, or material changes to the properties of the interlayer. These warranties are only made to and are

limited to the original purchaser of the Product from SCHOTT (“Purchaser”).

No warranty claim is valid under this warranty unless the warranty claim is made within thirty (30) days of either A) the occurrence

of significant visual disruption through the glass area, delamination, or material changes to the properties of the interlayer

of the Product or B) the date of purchase, if the claim is that the Product does not conform to SCHOTT’s specifications.
